Angela was born August 2, 1983 in Farmington, New Mexico to a very poor mother and as a kid lived in the streets of Los Angeles. In 2007, Magaña started her wrestling career and slowly worked her way to the fame. Besides hard childhood, she had other obstacles to overcome. In the past, Angela fell 3 stories of stairs and broke her back. As a result, she ended in a coma for a couple of days. Thankfully, she made a full recovery. In 2017, Magaña’s contract with the UFC was terminated. We still hope to see her back in the ring though.
